Can this monitor also do more than 50 hertz at the full resolution of 4096x2160? My Club3D cable from Digitec can also only do 50 hertz.
DP1.2 supports 4k (4096x2160) @ 60Hz with 30bit colour depth. So if everything has a DP1.2 connection (or newer) then it should work.
The monitor is logically no problem, it corresponds exactly to the values mentioned above.
The GTX770 supports 4k @ 60Hz (http://www.geforce.com/hardware...) and should therefore be able to drive the monitor at 60Hz via a correct cable (DP1.2).
Do you have the latest driver for your GPU?
How did you get the 50Hz or how was it measured?
My Nvidia GTX 780 with display port connected to the monitor brings 4096x2160 @60Hz.
On the iMac (27" late 2012, NVIDA GeForce GTX 675 MX), 'only' 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz are possible. However, the picture is very smooth and sharp. On a MSI GTX 980 Gaming (4 GB) it ran under Win 7 test with 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz with a Monster Advanced Ultra HD Gold cable (1.5 metres, throughput over 18 GBps). Other cables did not work at 60 Hz. The 4096 resolution did not work at 60 Hz. However, you can use the monitor with 30 Hz, e.g. with a DAW.
I have a Mac. So I can't say anything about this.
