Question about Lenovo ThinkPad USB-C Dock 60W (2nd gen.)

Dear digitec Community I am looking for a docking station for my Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga (2nd Gen.). According to official information from Lenovo, this dock is only compatible from the third generation (3rd Gen.) of this notebook type. According to my research, both notebook types mentioned have the identical Intel® Thunderbolt™ 3 (USB C) ports. So in theory they should work. Do any of you have experience or further information? Thanks in advance

Hello, I also asked myself the question about (general) compatibility. Maybe also a help for others, can you find a listing on the Lenovo support website https://smartsupport.lenovo.com/ch...., including "X1 Carbon", at least "7th generation", etc.? Hope this helps :-)
