Do all 3 8pin sockets have to be connected directly to the power supply or can you connect the card with a 1x 8pin to 2x8pin + 1x8pin to 1x8pin. I only have 2x 8pin free on my power supply...

I have connected the first pin dedicated, the last two pins with a daisy chain (split from 1 cable to 2). All pins must be connected, otherwise the card will not work. However, 2x cables from the power supply unit are sufficient for the power supply

To operate the "PRIME RX 9070 XT OC (16 GB)" graphics card, you need three 8-pin power connectors. The use of adapters, such as a 1x 8-pin to 2x 8-pin and another 1x 8-pin to 1x 8-pin, is technically possible, but it is recommended to connect the connectors directly to the power supply unit to ensure a stable power supply. If your power supply only has two 8-pin connectors, you could use an adapter, but make sure that the power supply delivers the required power.
