Does the light start as soon as you start the pc and switch off when you turn it off, or do you always have to press the separate button manually? (does energy saving mode have an influence?) thank you.

It gets power as soon as you turn on the pc and turns off as soon as you shut down the pc, because it is connected to the power supply.
