Does the Magic Mouse 2 work on an iMac 24" from autumn 2009? The macOS is up to date (10.11.1)

The only requirements from Apple for the Magic Mouse 2 are a Mac with Bluetooth (The iMac 24" Early 2009 has Bluetooth 2.1) and Mac OSX 10.5.8 or newer.
This means the mouse works with the iMac.
