Question about Eizo Cg2730

Hello - I assume that this screen is the best choice even after more than 4 years (2016 release), if you are not looking for a 4K model, but would like a CG model for ambitious photo editing. Or would I rather have to choose the slightly newer CG279X model? I don't need it for video editing or HDR and I'm not a professional, thank you for your opinion.

Helpful answer

I've had the monitor for almost 3 years now, 5600 hours of use (a lot of home office), and I'm still thrilled with the device. Self-calibration works great and the colours are simply brilliant, I am a hobby photographer (Capture One).

Cameras come and go, but an Eizo monitor is like a resting pole that stands simply and reliably and, as a grey eminence, tells you what colour is. I had the CG241 for years and now the CG 2730 for about a year. I am very satisfied.

As an ambitious hobby photographer, I am still completely enthusiastic about this screen. I cannot judge whether newer models are actually better. For my purposes (photo editing with Capture One), the CG2730 is more than good enough.

Hello, I have owned the CG2730 for over a year. I am an ambitious photographer, not a professional. The monitor offers me everything I need.
