Has anyone been able to connect a MacBook Pro (latest generation) at 4k 60Hz? I can only manage 30Hz with the 3rd plug. Experiences?

Helpful answer

We have a latest generation MacBook and a monitor like this. We have also had problems and contact with Philips and Apple.

1. you have to switch the monitor to DisplayPort 1.2.
2. Thunderbolt cables do not work. This one worked for us:
Value DP M - Mini DP M 5 m (5m, Entry, Black)

60 Hz on my MacBook Pro (Retina, 15', mid-2014).
According to the Apple website (https://support.apple.com/de-ch...), yours should be able to do the same.
