If the question is whether the Air 2S is specifically certified under the new European drone law in a certain class or different from its predecessors, the answer is quite clearly NO. Or in other words, it falls into the same category as current stock drones in the same size and weight class. In Europe (and later also in Switzerland) this means at least the A1/A3 licence (compulsory) with the known
restrictions and if you want to do more, the A2 licence. The adoption of the new European drone regulation by Switzerland is delayed due to a motion. The existing Swiss law continues to apply to drones in Switzerland. Once the EU regulation comes into force or is adopted, it will be considered an existing drone and will fall into the (rather restricted) category A3 after the transition period, i.e. from 1.1.2013. However, the adoption of the EU drone regulation
is likely to take some time (negotiations with Brussels).Apparently the drone is not certified :(
