Question about Corsair RGB Fan LED Hub

Hello all. I have a somewhat stupid question: I plugged my fans into this hub, everything fit and it clicked as it should. But now I can't pull the fan cables out of the RGB hub, even though I push down on the little latch and pull. Am I doing something wrong?

You are not doing anything wrong in that sense.
It is a little fiddling because the trap gets stuck easily.
Do not try to force it
