Hello, are there any special requirements for use with an HP Elitebook x360 1040 G6? Unfortunately, I can't get a connection there with a monitor connected to the docking station via DisplayPort. Windows, graphics drivers etc. do not recognise a monitor. It works via the HDMI port on the docking station, but the monitors on the DP just don't do it, regardless of whether anything else is connected to the HDMI port or not. Tried the same with an Elitebook 840 G5, the same setup works without problems, all monitors are recognised (HDMI and DP) and can be used. Effect both with USB Type-C (TB) and Type-A. Thanks and greetings
Hello, I use the docking station with a Windows Surface notebook and a Macbook Pro. Both work after installing the DisplayLink driver. Without the driver, the docking station only works very limited with the Macbook. Have you already installed the DisplayLink? Otherwise, you can only access the screen via the HDMI interface on the docking station. Maybe this is the solution to your problem?
