Question about Corsair RGB Fan LED Hub
Hello Community, I noticed that there are many different RGB Fan HUB (Controller), like from Corsair, NZXT, Akasa, Thermaltake or Arctic.... Now my question: Are the RGB cables all the same? That is, I can connect any RGB fan to any HUB (controller), or do I have to connect RGB FAN from Corsair with the Corsair controller? Does anyone know a HUB for this? Does anyone have any idea how the whole thing works? Somehow I don't get it, I have also watched videos on YouTube, unfortunately no one explains it clearly and 99% are in English... Thanks in advance
In the case of Corsair, it even depends on the fan type whether they are compatible with the RGB hub.
LL and QL fans have different RGB hubs. If you connect them to the wrong hub, the fans will light up but will not be controllable.
Personally, I would buy a set with the correct hub.
