Question about B&O Beoplay M3
Hello everyone, I have the following question regarding multi-room: You have to combine the speakers in the B&O app for e.g. bedroom, living room or office. So I connect two of these M3 speakers together to form one room. Can I then select Spotify for this room via the normal Chromecast app and the music will then sound on both speakers? But I know that it works individually in the connection, so I would be interested in that? Thank you very much!
The paired units play the same signal. You can adjust the volume for each speaker individually. I installed the system at my mother's. Although there were problems at the beginning, it now runs without failures (various products in a network, not only M3). Unfortunately, it is not possible to save different groups. However, the effort is not particularly great if you want to add individual rooms to the main loudspeaker.
A fixed pair can now be created with the B&O speakers (stereo pairing). This only works with two identical models. After that, they always play together. Whether via the B&O app, Chromecast or Airplay.
