Question about Samsung Galaxy S23+

Hello, I don't have a question, but an important piece of info: I recently bought an S23+ from Digitec and then wasted two days of my life with Digitec and Samsung support to find out, that the S23+ will only work directly on a USB-C port of a PC or WITH AN ORIGINAL SAMSUNG USB-C to USB-A cable! Standard USB-C to USB-A cables, which work fine with other mobiles (even older Samsung), do NOT work with the S23+ (only charging works, the device is NOT recognised by the PC). I even wanted to replace my S23+ with a new S23+ -> exactly the same behaviour! Concerns at least S23+, I guess all S23, I can't say anything about S22, etc.). I hope this info helps someone to save trouble and idle time.

Sorry, I have other experiences! I tested it with my S23+ (also bought at Digitec). Mobile --> PC or mobile --> active USB hub --> PC both work. The USB cable is an Aukey USB A - USB C (Art.Nr.: 6213310), I tested it with the 0.3m, 1m and the 2m cable and it always worked. Good luck and have a nice evening

I do not know the behaviour. I have been able to charge crosswise on all adapters so far...
