Hello together Unfortunately, I can't manage to set the full resolution on my two Lenovo notebooks (T470s and V330-15IKB). More than the current 2560 x 1440 is not possible via UHD HDMI 1.4 cable, although according to the Intel graphics card 620 HD and 620 UHD this should be possible. Unfortunately, the notebooks do not have a Displayport connection. I have already installed the latest graphics drivers from February 2020. With this resolution, everything is much too big and uncomfortable for the eyes. What else can I do? Thank you for your support.

Search for the monitor on mydealz, in the comments we were able to solve the problem using a tool that limits the frequency to 50 Hz (hdmi 1.4 cannot do more at full resolution). I had the same problem, but now I use a displayport cable on the Lenovo T480 and it works without the tool.

The tool is called custom Resolution Utility, e.g. at Chip.

I have exactly the same problem with my HP Elitebook. With my second laptop connected via docking station and display port, it works with the resolution. I would also be very happy to find a working HDMI solution. Thanks .

I have set the monitor as the main screen and have already closed the notebook. I have also tried the various modes extended or only display on the external monitor, but unfortunately nothing changes. Maybe you need an HDMI 2.0 cable for the higher bandwidth? Unfortunately, I don't have one to test.

Hello

Was the external screen set as screen 1, i.e. the main screen? Maybe that would work then. Because technically it should work
