Hello, unfortunately I can't get the monitor to work with my laptop. I have an HP EliteBook 850 G3 with a USB-C interface. When connecting it, I always get the message "The display connection may be limited". After contacting Digitec support, they advised me to try a USB-C to DisplayPort cable. I took the advice and bought such a cable, but unfortunately it doesn't work either. I also tried a USB-C to USB 3 - doesn't work either. How many more cables should I buy to get the device to work? Can anyone help me or was it all a waste of time? LG Eki

I have an EliteBook 840 G3 and https://www.displayport.org/product-ca... says that this model is a certified product.

I would love to buy a portable monitor from HP or ASUS, but I don't dare. It's my business laptop and I can't install any software, so it has to be plug & play.

I'm curious if this problem can be solved for Eki.

Which laptop is it?
The USB Type-C port must support DisplayPort, see https://www.displayport.org/displaypor....
Maybe something can be activated in the BIOS?

The best thing to do is to contact HP support directly.
