Question about Datacolor Spyder X PRO

Hello zäme What exactly is the difference to the Spyder Elite? On the net it says that the Elite is for different screens that are placed next to each other and have different lighting, which can be adjusted to each other. I want to use the Spyder for 2 screens that are next to each other. One of them has a red cast. Is the Pro sufficient for this? That is, the Pro calibrates each screen individually, and the Elite calibrates several screens together. Have I understood that correctly? Greetings & Happy 1st August

Helpful answer

I can't tell you what the difference is, but I have also used the Pro to match different monitors to the same colour.
I am satisfied with the result.
It was more of a problem that one monitor only had an 8-bit frame table internally.

The Spyder sensors are technically all the same. Only the software has big differences. For the calibration and adjustment of several monitors side by side, the Elite version is really recommended, because it has the possibility to compensate for metamerism (of the monitor HG light). The Elite software is much more flexible and more consistent (e.g. a fine balance of the grey values etc.).

If you have several screens that have a hardware calibration (pro screen), the pro is sufficient. Then the Spyder software is not needed and you can use the software from the screen manufacturer.
