Question about WiiM Pro Plus
Hello I have a very good old stereo system and am looking for an interface to the new digital world with this device. Question 1: Is it possible to switch off all wireless communication with this product (WiiM Pro Plus). I only want to operate the device via wired Ethernet, RCA and optical interfaces. I don't want Bluetooth, WLAN, etc. in the home. Is it possible to switch off this communication completely in the setup? Question 2: Does the remote control work via infrared (IR) or via radio/Bluetooth? It has to be IR for me. Is that possible?

1.) Yes you can switch off the wireless, WIFI connection and you can connect your device via Ethernet. Personaly I prefer this method too. Altough your phone or Ipad etc going to connect to your router via wireless, and that is the way to control your WiiM Pro Plus by the App. ( The Wiim Pro Plus and your phone must be on the same network )
2.) The remote is working via Bluetooth, which is excellent, so you can not turn off the Bluetooth totally, but that is does not hurt. That is a very good streamer, but of course there are much better ones for much more than x times the price.
