Hello Is anyone here also having problems getting a mobile connection? I have switched from the old Pixel 2 to the new one. But now I can't get a connection "service not available". Latest patches are on it. I also tried the .apk from the Google Carrier Service. But I still can't make calls or receive SMS.

At first I didn't have a connection either. I changed the "Preferred Network Type" setting from "5G (recommended)" to "LTE".
However, the mobile connection was very poor compared to the old Pixel 3. After the installation (update) with the January update "12.0.0 (SQ1D.220105.007, Jan 2022)", the quality of the mobile connection is again as good as with the Pixel 3. I changed the "Preferred network type" back to "5G (recommended)" after the update.

It works for me without any problems. Maybe your network operator can help you?

Yes, I have the same problem and have googled it several times. But I don't understand these technical terms and foreign words. As far as I understand, an update is supposed to be available from the end of January, which will hopefully bring the solution.
Until then, I'm enjoying the peace and quiet. By the way, emergency calls are possible.
