Hello, Unfortunately, the hands-free function does not work with my new box. Tried with 3 IPhones, although connected with Bluetooth and playing music flawlessly, the box cannot be selected when calling. Even a firmware update did not bring any improvement. Is there a trick here?

The JBL Charge 3 has a microphone, this is no longer the case with the newer ones. The Extreme 3, Charge 4 and 5 etc. no longer have a microphone.

The JBL Xtreme does not have a microphone as far as I know. I think it is not accepted by iPhones as a hands-free device for phone calls for that reason. I can't imagine that iPhones are prepared for phone calls where audio-in and audio-out go through two separate devices. Just Google "iPhone hands-free Bluetooth".
