If I want to claim this, I contact the manufacturer directly. Maybe digitec would do that for me as a gesture of goodwill - but they don't have to.

Besides, the thing is expensive, but really good. There's not much that could break without being used improperly.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer a lifetime guarantee, only the statutory 24 months. However, should a warranty claim occur after the 24 months have expired, you would have to report this directly to the manufacturer, as already mentioned in the previous answer.
