Question about Corsair Vengeance LPX
Hi Geeks, I have had a kit installed for almost three years, consisting of 2x 8GB / 3000MHz / 15-17-17-35. Now I want to upgrade and occupy slot 2/4 as well. Can I just order the kit with 2x8GB with latency 15 , or should I order 2x16GB and sell the current two bars? Or also 4x 8GB? PC is needed for programming, VMs, GIMP, and video editing. No gaming.

You can just buy this kit again with the same latency you already have. So 15.
However, I don't know how much it's worth it. The kit is already quite old. For your application, however, I could imagine that you could still tickle out a few reserves at a reasonable price.
