How good is the built-in microphone? Is it possible to use it in a noisy office (e.g. via iPhone, Skype for Business, etc.) so that the person you are talking to can hear you?

The mic is very good. It even picks up a little too much ambient noise for my taste. I use it myself in an open-plan office.

In my experience, the mic is too good for use in an open-plan office and the background noise for the person you are talking to is practically as loud as your own speech. Unfortunately, according to Bose Support Switzerland, the sensitivity cannot be adjusted. In addition, this support leaves a lot to be desired.....long response times, inconsistent and incompetent answers.
