I think the battery life of the mouse is the only big criticism. It doesn't last long at all compared to other mice with batteries. I've had the mouse for 3/4 years and have already had to change the battery 4 times. I'm used to one battery lasting for a year.

I use rechargeable batteries for daily, good gaming use and have to recharge them after about a month. However, I think that these rechargeable batteries are quite weak compared to "real" batteries, which is why you can probably get a lot more out of them.
But I can still recommend rechargeable batteries, because it doesn't really bother me to recharge the batteries regularly. The mouse also only needs ONE AA battery, so you only need a total of 2 for a smooth transition.

I have had the mouse since June 2020 and have replaced the battery (1xAA) twice so far (currently at 40%). I use it daily (home office job) and less on weekends.
