I am looking for a monitor with which I can work for about 12 hours a day and then still gamble for 2-4 hours. Is this monitor suitable in terms of brightness and burn-in?

Helpful answer

I have had the monitor for half a year now and play with it, but I also work with it about 3 to 4 days a week. So far, I haven't experienced any burn-in or blurred text. I'm very satisfied so far. QLED is a dream for gaming and the size is a dream for working. Moreover, the Alienware warranty also applies to burn-in.

The monitor is "needy" and not a good fit for extended use unless you ignore the regular prompts about pixel refreshes and burn-in protection that shows up every 4 hours. Use it mainly for work and the fan is somewhat irritating when the rest is more or less quiet.

Overall a great monitor for gaming and the picture quality is superb, don't know though if I would buy it again for mixed use. No issues with burn-in and brightness is good (2 months of use)
