I bought such a monitor in January 2016. So far so good. In may 2017, the backlight went out. Replacement. Now since Sept. 2018 again a Defek at the monitor falakerndes picture, again warranty case. Since Philips offers 3 years warranty and have extended you 2 more years to 5j. Now I'm waiting since Sept. for a monitor exchange....... Philips is a real pain. Never again a Philips monitor.

mine was the same,,,after 1/2 year it showed various spots, sent and got a credit note after 2 months, not repairable although it had 5 years warranty,,, never again philips monitors,,, really troublesome
