I bought this product together with Lenovo Idea Pad 3. Unfortunately it does not charge the Laptop As well connecting to the monitor (old but we have an adopter to HDMI) does not work always. Anyone has a tip? Thx

Into my laptop, I have the power cable going in directly separate from the box. I have not tried it any other way and it works fine. I don’t mind having both the power and box connected to my laptop. Indeed I was super happy to find the box, I have been using it daily since I bought it with[it problems. The main benefit it to have 3 screens available to move around various windows of different applications and have then all large enough to use at once. I’m very happy with this product.
