I have a Dell XPS15 and an eGPU from Gigabyte. I would like to know if there is a way to connect these two to the Dell TB16 docking station, knowing that the XPS only has a TB3 port and the same for the eGPU? If not, is there any other way?

Il existe une liste de câbles sur le site officiel de Thunderbolt:

Hello,
no, not necessary, it was just an example of chaining, in your case it will be XPS15 - TB16 - eGPU or XPS15 - eGPU - TB16 if the eGPU box allows the chaining. Probably the quality of the TB3 cables and the distance between the devices can make the difference, cf.

To start with it is better to use passive TB3 cables of 0.5m which are known to support 40Gbit/s.

Hello,
normally it is possible to do it, on the TB16 there is a TB3 port which allows to chain several TB3 devices. At the moment I use it with a Dell Precision 5510 and a CalDigit TS3 - Dell TB16 - HighPoint RocketStor 5212 chain (via a TB3 - TB2 adapter).
