I have a normal micro connector (these round plugs) on the phone as well as on the laptop. However, the Jabra headphones have a different connector. Are there adapters or other plugs that are compatible with the normal micro connectors?

Do you mean a jack 3.5mm? Then you could unplug the Jabra from the middle control unit and you would have jack 3.5mm.
