Question about Google Pixel 8
I have a screen problem - there's a vertical pink or green line across the screen. Sometimes the screen is completely green and flickery. The device has never been dropped on the ground or any hard surface. The phone has always been handled with care (thick case + screen protector), so I am unsure what could have caused this problem except a manufacturing defect or another internal hardware issue. I guess this is covered by the guarantee. Did any other user experience the same problem? thanks!
Yes, ditto. I returned the product under warranty. However, I noticed some minor wear and tear that wasn't there before I sent it (the screen glass cover isn't new). So take all the photos you need before sending it for repair, note the IMEI number and reset it. They'll change the screen for you. I received it 1 week later. Just the little doubt about the returned device, hence my advice to note everything down before sending.
I have exactly the same thing. Now the pink line stays permanently. I was too lazy to send it but if it only takes 1 week, I'll go and do it right away.
