I have an Asus Prime Z390-A motherboard and a defective power supply. Now I need a new one and after some research I came across this one. As I'm not the biggest nerd when it comes to such things, I'm honestly confused as to whether this power supply will work for me? Thank you!

You can enter all the components and calculate approximately how much juice you will need and then choose the power supply accordingly.
