I have an ultrawide that has a thunderbolt 3 slot as well as the usual HDMI, DP, and usb slots. The monitor could be used as a USB hub if connected to a computer by direct thunderbolt 3 connection. I tried this with my HP tablet pc but this is not working. I'm wondering whether this adaptor will be an alternative option? Or is this simply to convert for an audio visual signam only and will not help the hub idea?
