I have had RAM break down suspiciously often with other manufacturers, I just assume that it was due to overclocking via XMP. That's why the current modules are currently running in 'normal' mode to protect them. Has anyone had any experience with G. Skill modules in terms of longevity and stability when used with the XMP profile?
I have been using G.skill since DDR2 and none of them have ever broken. And I have also tortured them and sometimes even cooled them with water. Therefore, I can only recommend the G.Skill brand :-)
