I have read various (contradictory) reviews on 5G functionality in Switzerland -- does 5G work with the digitec connect subscription?

Am on Swisscom and unfortunately no 5G. Google support says it's the provider's fault and Swisscom blames the manufacturer. According to the Google support page, compatibility for Swiss networks is coming "soon". Otherwise, top device for the price.
