Question about ASUS ThunderboltEX 3
I should have a Thunderbolt port on an Asus TUF x299 Mark 2 board. What about compatibility? And if so, how stable is the external card with the motherboard mentioned?

And which external card do you mean? Do you mean the internal PCI-E card?

Yes, that's exactly what I mean!
You must plug the card into a PCI x4 slot, but the board must also have a Thunderbolt add-on card connector. then it should work.
Please give us some feedback if it works :)
In my opinion, the board does not have a thunderbolt port, so I would like to upgrade it with a thunderbolt pcie card, hence my question....
