In principle, this does not matter, as the respective remote control is only fully functional on the system intended for it. Volume control does not work on the other system, as far as I know. Play, pause, next song and previous song should work on both systems. So the question is, what do you use most, not only the headphones, but especially the remote control, and where would the missing volume control be most noticeable?
