I would like to connect my MacBook Pro Retina year 2012 to this monitor. How do I do that? I don't think I have a Thunderbolt. Will the picture be good? I've read in the comments that people are having problems.

The connection is made via an HDMI interface. The picture of this monitor is excellent. Sharp and clear resolution. When connecting, the resolution must be set on the computer. This is done without any problems.
