Question about Protect - 82002
If I use this filter, the EW-78D lens hood will still fit on it. I need it for an EFS 18-200 lens, will it fit?
Inserting a Canon filter into the filter thread does not increase the front diameter of the lens; i.e. the filter is flush with the lens on the outside. Since the lens hood is screwed on the outside, the filter does not interfere. I don't have the 18-200 lens myself, but I use a protective filter on all my Canon lenses and have never had a problem for the above reason.
