Yes, it depends on what you mean by "sufficient". It's certainly not enough to display every game at 240 FPS with all settings on high. Probably not even a 3090 would manage that. Due to the number of pixels (approx. 7.4 million pixels), I have always oriented myself to 4k (8.3 million pixels) benchmarks - so you can assume that you will have approx. 15-20% more FPS than your 3070TI performs in a 4k benchmark. Of course, assuming the rest of your system is somewhat similar to the benchmark, but in these resolutions, the graphics card is almost always the limiting element. Just type in "3070Ti 4K Gaming" on YouTube. I just clicked through a few vids. You'll probably be at a solid 90-140FPS depending on the game and settings (toaster games like CS go or Dota of course significantly higher).
