Is it possible to mount the panels on abrasion or only on a flat wall?
I have just mounted the Nanoleaf on medium-coarse abrasion at its destination. I am positively surprised at how well it works and holds! You really don't need to worry about that.
Mounted them myself on abrasion walls and the panels hold very well. The double-sided tape strips included even allow for repositioning. Have fun!
In the meantime, Nanoleaf includes better adhesive strips - the first ones were of really poor quality. They discoloured, dried out, crumbled and left marks on the wall and panel. The new ones are similar to the Tesa Powerstrips, which I recommend here:
Tesa Powerstrips small
You can cut them lengthwise into two parts, which is easily enough if one such Powerstrip half is attached to each of the three corners of the Aurora panel.
There are special powerstrips for walls with abrasion, to answer your question. You won't find them at Galaxus, but at Migros-Do-it. It's our own company, so it's safe to say that.
no, you can't do that with extreme abrasion, I tried it with different double-sided tapes and it didn't work.
Hello, it doesn't hold at all for me. Not even with Tesa Powerbond. What am I doing wrong?
For me it worked for 1 week and then the Nanoleafs came off. Then I replaced them with Tesa Powerstrips and now they last about 1 year.
Hello, maybe there is already an answer in German?
How many panels are there in the basic kit?
(I saw in the answers that there are 3 panels in the extension)
Thanks
In my case, the panels came off the wall after a few days. I also applied them with medium abrasion. Now I have tried again with Tesa Powerbond, which holds everything perfectly.
Why shouldn't you be able to?
