The thermal paste supplied with the cooler should usually be sufficient. Arctic supplies the MX-6 thermal paste with the cooler, which is sufficient for quick and easy installation. However, it is never a bad idea to have extra thermal paste on hand in case the existing one gets damaged or needs to be replaced after maintenance.
