The screen is matte in the sense that there is no glossy glass (iMac / Macbook type) covering the panel and that the latter has received an anti-reflection treatment.

The screen is matte, I find the reflectance rate good (i.e. quite low), but I don't have a probe to measure it, it's more of a feeling than anything else (and at the price of the screen, I don't expect miracles either)

The screen is brilliant but it's not a mirror, so to speak.
