Is this really a midi case and not a full tower? The size seems to correspond to a full tower. Also, how many fans does it come with?

6 fans. Yes, full tower according to the manufacturer. E-ATX motherboards up to 285mm wide fit inside.

It is a full tower size but it doesn't have the cutout to fully support E-ATX motherboard, it comes with 4x140mm fan and 2x reverse 120mm.
