Is this the newer revised unit or the first batch? there have been some improvements on the newest in terms of quality control and I would like to know.

I was able to do some research and it looks like the manufacturer does not use different EAN codes or manufacturer numbers for the different batches. In this case, it is unfortunately not possible for us to predict which item belongs to which production run. In any case, you have a manufacturer's guarantee if something should go wrong with the headset.
