It would actually be interesting to know which bluetooth codecs the WF-1000XM3 can handle? At this price, LDAC and aptX-HD should be included? What's the situation?

Helpful answer
Es werden nur die Bluetooth Codes AAC & SBC unterstützt, kein AptX oder LDAC.
Zu sehen beim Hands-On von TheVerge "For codecs, Sony supports AAC and SBC on the M3s but not apt-X or the company’s own higher-res LDAC. [...]"

LDAC makes ~300, ~600 or in the best case ~900 kbits transfer rate. For 900, it needs the full capacity of a Bluetooth connection and good reception. Here, however, a connection is not made to one device but to two devices. For 2x 900, however, there is not enough capacity. The same applies to Aptx-HD. Therefore, support only makes sense for codecs with a lower bit rate.

Example: If I select "Dual Audio" in the Bluetooth settings of my Samsung (although only one device is connected), these codecs are not possible even with the over-ear WH-1000xm3, which supports LDAC and Aptx-HD.
