May I ask how these headphones Calls (home office or also open-plan office) are doing? Are there any empirical values from buyers here? :)

In terms of shielding, I think they are less good than the closed WH-1000XM3. They may also be more uncomfortable over the long term. When there is no music on the headphones, noise cancelling can only help to a limited extent in my opinion, because the ears are simply not closed enough.

For phone calls, they seem more suitable, at least for the person on the other end, because the other person understands you better. With the thick WH-1000XM3, you sound quite muffled.

Apart from that, the quality and battery life of both models is very good.
