Question about ANC: Can you (e.g. on a plane) simply switch on the headphones and then the noise from outside is blocked without having to listen to music? Do the headphones always stay on, or do they switch themselves off after a certain time, e.g. without activity? What is your experience with this? Is it really quiet then or just quieter? Thank you very much for your feedback.

I've only had the headphones for a week. So I am still listening to them. I must confess that I almost always switch off anc. Anc means there is a background noise. The stronger the anc, the louder the noise, and I don't like that. When it's loud, I just turn it up. Without noise, which disturbs me more than the real world.
