so the fans then also draw their power via this distributor or do you still have to connect all the fans to the MB.individually?

The best way to use the fans is to use the Corsair RGB Fan LED Hub and the Commander Pro connected to the mainboard (USB) and the RGB HUB to the Commander PRO. The fan connections are then connected once each to the RGB HUB and to the Commander Pro and then controlled in Windows via the software.
