The AM4 bracket from the Kraken Z63/73 is supposed to fit on an AM5 board but NZXT recommends ordering an AM5 bracket. Does anyone have the AM4 bracket on AM5 and what exactly is not optimal?

Technically you can use AM4 on AM5 because the holes are equally spaced. BUT. there is a small difference in terms of the height of the mounting bracket (AM5 is slightly higher). It still fits but you wouldn't get a perfect fit. If you go to NZXT and open a ticket, they will ship it to your house for free. You need 3 things: the serial number of your current Kraken, the serial number of your new AM5 motherboard, and a proof of purchase of it. Hi!
