What does DE version mean? Configured for Germany or only in German and therefore also functional for Switzerland?

The device is basically the same. Everything works normally in Switzerland. Also the online phone book tel.search.ch e.g.

However, the telephone connection cable has plugs that fit in Germany, but not in Switzerland. But I needed an RJ11 cable to connect to my cable modem anyway. And I still had one left.

The power connection is the normal Euro plug twice and fits.
