The HW -Q995gd soundbar has more built-in speakers for better spatial sound and supports wireless Dolby Atmos. This means that Dolby Atmos can be transmitted wirelessly with compatible Samsung TVs from 2022 and newer.
With the HW-Q990D, Dolby Atmos is only available via cable.
